Finally!!! Max, my dog, is here!! Oh, in case you have to ask, I named him "Max" after the movie Eight Below!! (Go rent it if you haven't watch it yet, it's a good movie btw!!)

I picked him up from the breeder on this past sunday!! He's a 10 weeks old pure bred Mini Schnauzer. He's so cute and very quiet (I hate dog bark all day long!). And he seems like he has not much interest of all the toys that we bought for him; instead, he likes to stick around w/ us (which is one of the good things I like!).

So far, he's been a very very good dog, every single person who had met him all say he's sooo cute and such a good dog!! He listens and obey (for a puppy that barely knows me for 2 days!), plus he's a very fast learner too!! The only thing worry me is he's a bit tooo lay back, quiet, and lazy too....... Always wanna take a nap!! May be b/c he's still a baby....

Oh btw, Max already has his own blog!! Soooooo check it out, and while you are there, be sure to give him a bone too since he's such a good boy!!

New Year's Eve Party

Just uploaded the New Year's Eve Party pictures at the new restaurant, Grace's. It was fun. Lots of friend, family. Oh, of course lotta champagnes and cigars too!! Haven't have a real New Year's Eve party for a long time, it was really good! Gotta keep it as a new tradition from now on!!

After several weekends hard working, with the helps from my bro-in-law, my backyard fence and deck stair extension finally finished today!!! Well, almost.... still needs to clean up and paint it... You can see the progress over at the Photo Gallery section!!

Man, I'm VERY glad it's done 'cos it IS a very hard work!! Mainly due to the weather!! It was either sudden pouring rain or hot and humid everyday we were working!! And did I say it's soooooo hot!!!! My shoulder and my arm is burnt and sore now, and I'm really tired!! But I'm sure it's well worth for all the hard work we did!!

Now I want to do another BBQ party soon....

And it's just the starting of the project, I still have many plans for my "new" backyard in the future!! Stay tune....!!

p.s. MANY MANY TKS to my bro-in-law for the great design and his hard work!!!! I really owe you a BIG one, Deren!!!!

Went Off Roading...

I went to off roading the first time with my nephew yesterday. I, and Mr.Freelander, had a GREAT time!! It was FUN !!! Now I know you don't necessary have to go fast (driving at the track) in order to have fun, by going slow (off roading) could be very fun too!!! Too bad it was a nice sunny day, I'm sure it will be even more fun when it's raining or the ground is wet!! Well, today, I'm just "testing the water", I'm sure I will be back again ESPECIALLY on a rainy day!!! Stay tune......

The movie seems to be quite good from what the trailer shows (well, they gonna be the best part from the movie tho!).

Anyone want to make a bet that within the first 2 weeks of the showing, prices of 240SX, RX7, 350Z, and whatever drifter's wet dream car are going to skyrocket much like the Supra when FF1 came out?

On the same note, I wouldn't dare drive my ///M out during the first month of the flick either since every kid out there is going to be slamming into light poles, trees, and each other, mimicking DORIFTO ACTION!! And there's gonna be more "parking lot shows" in most night action place too!!

Snow Strom 06'

Earlier Dec., we had snows almost every week for 3 weeks in a row, but things never stick on the ground! Sooo, no fun for me.... And with a VERY mild Jan., with ave. temp in the 50s, I thought the chances of some good amount of snow is very very slim this winter.... Well, it turns out God likes to save up everything and turns it into one BIG dump!! We had 12+ inches of snow last night! YEE.....AHH....!!

Even tho it took me an hour to drive home last night (which normally takes 30mins or so), and I've spent over an hour just to shovel my driveway and dig out my roomate's car this morning, it's still well worth all the extra work to me!! 'Cos I found an untouched empty parking lot this afternoon for my Freelander to have some off roading fun!! I've been waiting for today all winter long already!! Heheee.....

X'mas day ski trip

I went for a ski trip yesterday, x'mas day with a bunch of my friends. Man, my body feels so sore.... I really think I'm getting old.... It wasn't a good ski day at all when start, rain and very foggy all morning and early afternoon!! I thought of turn around many time even when I was standing right in front of the ticket counter. I've been skiing while it's snowing before, but ski in rain sure is my first!! Surprisingly, it wasn't as bad as I thought!! The worst problem for me is, it was a pretty warm day and I didn't wear any big waterproof jacket, just a vest!! Even the ski resort did prove some sort of plastic "bag" to cover the body, my whole arms is soaking wet and it feels soooo cold when you are skiing down at speed!! Plus it was very foggy, I can hardly see anything from the top of the mountain especially with the goggle on!! It finally stop raining after lunch and condition is getting better. Afterall, it was still a very good trip!!

We left early evening 'cos it's getting icy plus rushing back to have a x'mas dinner at my friend's house and unwrapping the x'mas gift.

Afterall, it was a pretty good x'mas to me and I hope you too and wish you all a very happy new year too!!

Speaking of prettier computer, I've just found this company, SmoothCreations, that does custom paint job for people!! You ought to check out their Visuals Gallery to see their awesome work!!

I'm seriously thinking to have them paint my laptop and may be my desktop too with custom graphic!!

It's December now! And X'mas is just around the corner. Me and my roommate are starting to decorate the house now. Well, since I'm pretty busy, my roommate do most of the work like buying, putting up stuffs, and I'm just giving out ideas only.

She just put up the X'mas tree tonight, looks VERY NICE, both from inside or outside the house!!

I still remember last year I've just moved in the house a couple months and didn't do anything for X'mas. This year, since I've got two roommates, it's very nice to decorate the house and have some more X'mas feel!!

(sigh)....I've been quite busy lately....

Just had my whole house wired with network cable!! Man, what a night and day difference in transfering large video files and remote accessing!! It really makes those wireless SuperG look like a joke!! I can't wait how fast it will be when my 8 ports Gigabit switch arrive later on this week!! (I'm "only" running at 100Mb using my router's switch right now)

Just got my Freelander a couple weeks ago, what a great car!! Love it!! And have been working on it ever since. I have too many plan for that car already..... tint the windows, work on the audio/video system & build a custom sub box, roof rack, side steps, etc.... I've just installed Clarion's latest in dash DVD unit along with iPod adpator, and the rear light guards and mud flaps already. I can see I'll be busying with her in the forseeable future....and hopefully I can take him to off road one day.....

Also, my roommates finally are moving in, this coming sunday!! I've been really looking forward for them to move in so I don't have to leave all by myself.... I've just helped them to move some of their stuffssss over this past sunday (really making good use of my new Freelander...hehee...). And my basement is now looking like a warehouse!! I'll see how long it'll take them to clear things up (crossing my fingers).....

I went to the Myrtle Beach SC, this past labor day weekend. Haven't take any real vacation for quite some time now! I had a really great time!! Weather was nice & had tons of fun!! And, YES, my skin color is getting darker and darker again.... heheee...

Man, gas price IS gettting very ridiculous nowaday!! It fluctuates more than the stock market. One week ago, I was still paying $2.95/gallon, as the same gas station, 3 days later, it went up to $3.25/gallon!!! Glad I don't drive a Hummer!! However, it sure hurts me too 'cos I'm going out of town for this labor day weekend....

First of all, Mr. and Mrs. Smith is an A MUST to watch!! One of the best movie in the recent months, after the Hitch!! On the other hand, Batman Begins SUX big time!! It's one of the very very few movie that I want to leave even before it's half way through!! Big disappointment!!

Well, I wrote a long paragraph about it, but deleted afterward... All I wanna say is, when your emotion is affected by someone, sometimes it might not be a good thing. When you see he/she is happy, you'll be happy and if he/she is sad, you'll feel the same... Which isn't a bad thing at all. But if you know you can't be with that person, it's not a feel that you should just let it keep on growing.... I can't, or I shouldn't.... Loving someone is easy. But to not losing someone is hard! Call me idoit or whatever you like, but I think I'd rather be friendship forever than risking the chances to lose a friend when things don't work out...

Hahaa.... just got a new cell phone (SONY K750) and a new laptop (Dell 600m) the past 2 days. However, I've been very very busy lately... Hardly have any time to play with them...
